Warranty Coverage
Coverage Period
Mechanical Components: 1 year from the date of purchase
Bracelet/Strap: 30 days from the date of purchase
What's Covered - Mechanical Components (1 Years)
- Movement malfunctions under normal use
- Case defects in materials and workmanship
- Crystal defects
- Manufacturing defects in mechanical parts
What's Covered - Bracelet/Strap (30 Days)
Limited to failure of:
- Spring bars
- Links
- Clasp
Note: Bracelet/strap warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, scratches, or normal wear and tear.
What's NOT Covered
- Normal wear and tear on any components
- Damage from accidents, misuse, or improper care
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Battery replacement (for quartz watches)
- Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage to case, crystal, or bracelet
- Water damage if water resistance specifications were exceeded
- Water damage from improper use, including but not limited to operating the crown, pushers, or other functions while submerged, or failure to properly secure the crown before water exposure
- Lost or stolen watches
- Strap or bracelet issues after 30 days (except spring bar, link, or clasp failure)
- Dial, hands, or bezel cosmetic issues unless defective from manufacture
Water Resistance Important Notice
Critical: Water damage is NOT covered under warranty if caused by improper use, including:
- Crown not fully pushed in or screwed down before water exposure
- Operating the crown while the watch is wet or submerged
- Using pushers (on chronographs) while submerged
- Exceeding the watch's stated water resistance rating
- Exposure to hot water, steam, or rapid temperature changes
- Failure to have gaskets serviced regularly (recommended every 2-3 years)
Always ensure the crown is properly secured before any water exposure. If your watch has a screw-down crown, it must be fully screwed down. Push-pull crowns must be fully pushed in.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Watches that have been opened or serviced by unauthorized parties
- Damage resulting from battery leakage
- Damage from magnetic fields, extreme temperatures, or chemicals
- Watches used in professional diving or extreme sports (unless specifically rated for such use)
- Damage from improper storage or care
Warranty Service Process
- Contact Us: Email warranty@forgeandcrown.com with your order number, date of purchase, and description of the issue
- Proof of Purchase: Provide original receipt or order confirmation
- Assessment: We'll review your case and determine if the issue is covered under warranty
- Shipping: If approved, send your watch to us using insured, trackable shipping (we cover shipping costs for valid warranty repairs)
- Repair: Our watchmakers will repair or replace defective components
- Return: Your watch will be returned to you, fully serviced
Turnaround Time
Warranty repairs typically take 2-4 weeks from receipt of the watch, depending on parts availability and the nature of the repair.
Warranty Limitations
Mechanical Components
Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. We reserve the right to determine whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.
Bracelet/Strap
The 30-day bracelet warranty covers only functional failures of spring bars, links, or clasps. Cosmetic issues, scratches, or general wear are not covered. After 30 days, bracelet repairs are available for a fee.
International Warranty
Our warranty is valid worldwide. International customers may be responsible for customs fees and import duties on warranty returns.
Warranty Transfer
Warranties are transferable to subsequent owners with proof of original purchase date and documentation. Contact us to register a warranty transfer. The warranty period remains based on the original purchase date.
Regular Maintenance
To maintain optimal performance and warranty coverage:
- Have mechanical watches professionally serviced every 3-5 years
- Test water resistance annually if the watch is exposed to water
- Have gaskets replaced every 2-3 years to maintain water resistance
- Keep your watch away from magnetic fields and extreme temperatures
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
- Always ensure the crown is properly secured before water exposure
Note: Failure to maintain your watch properly may void warranty coverage.

After your warranty expires, we continue to provide full servicing and repair for all Forge & Crown timepieces. Contact us at service@forgeandcrown.com for service pricing.

- Crystal replacement
- Case refinishing
- Bracelet repair or replacement
- Water resistance testing and gasket replacement
- Water damage repair (not covered under warranty)
Warranty Disclaimer
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Forge & Crown's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
